Terms & Conditions

Teachers/School staff members are not permitted to copy in any form, or use any Ulpan-Or materials, methodology or recordings in any other forum other than classrooms which use the iHebrew program per the signed agreement with the pertinent organization, unless receiving specific written permission by Ulpan-Or staff.

IT Requirements

Schools/Institutions will be responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure can fully support any iHebrew requirements which will be given by the Ulpan-Or staff.
In the case that the infrastructure at the school/institution does not meet Ulpan-Or's requirements, Ulpan-Or will not be held responsible for any implementation issues that may rise throughout the year.

Registration & Payment

Your school/institution must pay the invoice up to 1 month after receiving the initial invoice (unless agreed otherwise & in writing with Ulpan-Or).
If the invoice is not received by the set date Ulpan-Or will be entitled to freeze or cancel teacher/s and/or student/s accounts.

Methods of Payment

Payment is possible via credit card (no processing fee), bank transfer ($30 processing fee) or check ($30 processing fee).
Please note - If the school/institution intends on paying via check/bank transfer, Ulpan-Or MUST be informed BEFORE the check/transfer has been issued in order to add the processing fee.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation of contract on behalf of the school/institution will be possible up to 1 month upon beginning of the school/institution's contract. The school/institution will notify Ulpan-Or in writing with the cause for the cancellation.

There will be no refunds given on materials or teacher training/s.
If a student leaves the iHebrew program, the school/institution may substitute his account with another student no later than 1 month from the date of leaving. The school/institution will notify Ulpan-Or about the change in writing in order to make the necessary change in the accounts.
The school/institution will be eligible to earn credit/refund in the case that there is no substitute, up to 1 month after students' leaving.

Teacher Training

Teacher training payment will be made to Ulpan-Or before initial training session has begun, and as a condition to the teacher’s participation.
Schools/Institutions which sign up for the iHebrew Basic/Pro/Premium programs MUST register each teacher for Ulpan-Or online basic training session.
The school/institution will be responsible for the teacher’s registration, attendance and full participation. Ulpan-Or will not be held responsible for teacher absence from training sessions.
If a teacher fails to attend the training or any part of it, the school/institution cannot substitute their training with another teacher.
A teacher cannot join a training session once it has begun, and must wait to join the next available training session - until then, such teacher cannot teach the program. There will be no refunds given in the case of teacher absence from training session/s.
Ulpan-Or will provide the teacher in training a temporary access to the materials, until completion of the online training (1 month max). If the teacher is not registered for the training, the account will be frozen until training has been completed.

In case a registered teacher cannot join the training:

If cancellation is notified in writing, 21 business days, or more prior to initial training session - full refund will be provided.
If cancellation is notified in writing, 14-21 business days prior to initial training session - 50% refund will be provided.
If cancellation is notified in writing, less than 14 business days prior to initial training session- no refund will be provided.

*Please note that Ulpan-Or cannot guarantee the program’s successful implementation without proper basic training!

*Schools/Institutions which register for one of the following programs: Single eBook/Media/Israeli Culture/Alphabet; are not required to register teachers for basic online training, but are invited to register their teacher/s.

Effective of January 1st, 2019 - Teachers who have not been properly trained by Ulpan-Or will not be able to use the iHebrew Basic/Pro/Premium program, and their account will be deactivated.

Changes to iHebrew program through school year

If the school/institution wishes to upgrade the chosen iHebrew program throughout the semester/school year - it will notify Ulpan-Or and pay the difference between the two programs per student up to 1 month after the invoice has been issued.
There will be no downgrades on iHebrew programs throughout the school year.
Additional students who join the program mid-year will pay the regular package price, unless agreed upon otherwise with Ulpan-Or.

Pilot prices

Schools/Institutions which register for the iHebrew program at a special pilot price will be aware that the price agreed upon is valid for the second semester of that school year (January-June) only.
If the school/institution registers for the continuous school year, the prices will be according to the catalog.

Credit earned

If a school/institution refers a new school/institution or school community member (parent/grandparent/teacher etc.) to Ulpan-Or, the referring school/institution will be entitled to a certain credit (based on iHebrew program chosen) of the referred client’s invoice.
The credit earned can be used to add new students throughout the current school year, or to be saved for the continuous school year.
The overall credit will not exceed the total invoice of the referring school.
